My name is Beth Miller and I am a natural light photographer--specializing in senior, family, children, newborn and commercial modeling photography. I live in Salem, Oregon, but I work with clients from all over the Northwest and even all over the world, thru boutique modeling. While I have had a love for photography since I was a child, my business started with capturing my own children. I have spent countless hours perfecting my craft. The desire to know more about my camera & the fundamentals of a great shot, have become my passion over the years. While photography is art, it is also very personal. It is such an honor to come alongside and capture the personality of people through my lens. I am very laid back, and it is my goal to make people feel at ease in front of my camera. I prefer to use natural light, on location, to enhance the beauty of each moment but I also have a studio in my home. I would love to get the chance to meet you and capture your lifes moments.

I am so blessed to have such great clients! I love getting to know my clients, but seniors are especially fun, they are at an incredible time in their lives and I love hearing what they plan and dream for the future! Ashleigh (yes I had two Ashleighs as clients this year!) wants to study photography! So we had a bit of fun chatting about that! Best of luck in the future Ashleigh!

It’s that time again, school is starting back up again this week and the weather is turning cooler in the mornings and evenings. My favorite time of year is fall, I love the crisp air, the bright colors, the warm light, and Seniors!
Meet Carl, we had lots of fun at his session, he sure has mastered the serious look generally I crack up when I ask a senior for a straight face, which causes the senior to crack up, not Carl, he said he’s had years of playing serious faces with his brothers to perfect the look.
I think he has just the best smile around, so we didn’t try the serious look to much! 
I am so honored to have been chosen as one of a handful of photographers picked to participate in the 2012 Fall Swanky Baby Vintage Media Blast Contest! Each of us received one outfit to photograph on a model and then we sent in our images. They select one and then YOU get to vote for your favorite! How fun is that! Addi and I had a blast shooting the outfit, she doesn’t get to ride a bus to school so she thought the bus was so fun! When I first asked if Addi wanted to be my model for the shoot I texted a picture to her mom and mom showed her. The reply was “oh that’s cute”. When we got to the shoot, and I handed the outfit to Addi to change into, she squealed and said “That’s EVEN Cuter in person! ” Her mom and I both loved how wearable it was, cute, unique but yet totally comfy and modest for playing in! This year I decided to try something new for my senior girls. I offered Rock Your Frock, prom dress mini sessions, and Lauren and Sloan came together for a morning of glamourous fun! I loved getting to see the girls in their dresses!

Andrew inspired me! This guy has his future set. He wasn’t to become a Pastor, and I think he will be perfect at it. He also is a phenomenal singer he serenaded me in Russian! . Thank you for the fun session Andrew and I wish you all the best in your senior year and beyond!
Everyone one of my clients is special, but something about Lauren struck a chord with me, I think it was her big gorgeous brown eyes!
