About | Salem, OR Family Photographer

My name is Beth Miller and I am a natural light photographer--specializing in senior, family, children, newborn and commercial modeling photography. I live in Salem, Oregon, but I work with clients from all over the Northwest and even all over the world, thru boutique modeling. While I have had a love for photography since I was a child, my business started with capturing my own children. I have spent countless hours perfecting my craft. The desire to know more about my camera & the fundamentals of a great shot, have become my passion over the years. While photography is art, it is also very personal. It is such an honor to come alongside and capture the personality of people through my lens. I am very laid back, and it is my goal to make people feel at ease in front of my camera. I prefer to use natural light, on location, to enhance the beauty of each moment but I also have a studio in my home. I would love to get the chance to meet you and capture your lifes moments.

Room Seven – Salem Oregon Photographer

Monday, May 5th, 2014

One of the best parts of my photography business is getting to spend time with the cute little models doing work for children’s clothing boutiques.  Its fun and challenging I love trying to capture childhood and personalities while still showcasing the beauty of the clothing!   This shoot was for Little Skye Boutique and featured Room Seven clothing.  childrens-commercial-boutique-modeling-r7-1 r71-Commerical-boutique-modeling-photographer

Silverton Family- Willamette Valley,I Oregon Photographer

Thursday, January 30th, 2014

I have loved having the opportunity to work with this family over the years, and to get to capture Claire growing up.  This year we braved the weather and used the amazingly beautiful Oregon Gardens as our backdrop.  Pretty sure it poured every minute of the day except the couple of hours we needed it to be dry!

Fall is by far my favorite season, and I love getting to photograph the fall lines for Little Skye Children’s Boutique .  This line Mim-pi is one of the very first boutique brands I purchased for my own daughter, and fell in love with, she has since outgrown the brand so it’s even more fun to get to play with it! You can purchase these items in the Mim-Pi section of Little Skye.

A llama, a truck and some beautiful girls- commercial children’s boutique modeling photographer

Monday, February 11th, 2013

Some times magic happens!  I have to admit I love every photo shot I do, but sometimes there is just something magical about a certain session.  Everything just comes together perfectly to create that moment or moments in time that make my heart sing!  This shoot was one of them.  I will admit going into it I was super stressed, our days were getting shorter and colder, and we only had a half hour window of opportunity between when the models and I could get together and sunset.  I was so afraid we would run out of light before we were able to get the clothing all shot, but the girls were all amazing, SO professional, literally 1-2 shots per outfit and done ready to change, and their moms (and Aunts) were amazing helpers too.  We got done with plenty of time, so we decided to try and see if Mr. Ziggy the Llama would cooperate as well!  And he did! blu-vintage-pony-modeling-1blog

Isn’t he just handsome!  I have dreams of working with him again!

If you would like to purchase some of the clothing seen here, you can find it here here at Blu Pony Vintage for Little Skye Children’s Boutique
