Some times magic happens! I have to admit I love every photo shot I do, but sometimes there is just something magical about a certain session. Everything just comes together perfectly to create that moment or moments in time that make my heart sing! This shoot was one of them. I will admit going into it I was super stressed, our days were getting shorter and colder, and we only had a half hour window of opportunity between when the models and I could get together and sunset. I was so afraid we would run out of light before we were able to get the clothing all shot, but the girls were all amazing, SO professional, literally 1-2 shots per outfit and done ready to change, and their moms (and Aunts) were amazing helpers too. We got done with plenty of time, so we decided to try and see if Mr. Ziggy the Llama would cooperate as well! And he did! 
Isn’t he just handsome! I have dreams of working with him again!

Have you seen this brand yet? Winter Water Factory? I had the pleasure of seeing it at the New York Children’s Market last summer and fell in love, but sadly it doesn’t come in my children’s size and so I forgot about it, when Little Skye Children’s Boutique contacted me and asked if I would be able to photograph samples for them of Winter Water Factory I was so excited to see it again! And when it arrived I was not disappointed! The fabrics are so soft and the prints whimsical and sweet. And my models loved that many of the styles had pockets! I am so honored to have been chosen as one of a handful of photographers picked to participate in the 2012 Fall Swanky Baby Vintage Media Blast Contest! Each of us received one outfit to photograph on a model and then we sent in our images. They select one and then YOU get to vote for your favorite! How fun is that! Addi and I had a blast shooting the outfit, she doesn’t get to ride a bus to school so she thought the bus was so fun! When I first asked if Addi wanted to be my model for the shoot I texted a picture to her mom and mom showed her. The reply was “oh that’s cute”. When we got to the shoot, and I handed the outfit to Addi to change into, she squealed and said “That’s EVEN Cuter in person! ” Her mom and I both loved how wearable it was, cute, unique but yet totally comfy and modest for playing in! I had so much fun on this shoot for Little Skye (http://www.littleskyechildrensboutique.com/en/), I love this type of work, and these little models! This was their first time modeling, and they did so great. The colors were so perfect for both of them.
